Expansion Lead
About Nova Health Group
Nova was founded in 2024 with a simple thesis: psychiatric care can be delivered with higher quality, better patient experience, and greater operational excellence than what exists today.
In less than two years, we've grown to 50+ employees and a 90 MSEK annual run rate — profitable and cash flow positive since start.
We focus exclusively on assessment and treatment of ADHD and autism. Our strategy is to become the world's best at delivering care for these conditions directly to individuals. Everything we do is built on three pillars:
Exceptional patient experience
Clinical quality
Operational efficiency
Our ambition is clear: to show how well psychiatry can function — and to become Europe's leading psychiatric care provider. We are building a company where growth and profitability matter, but always as a means to a larger purpose: improving access to high-quality mental health care and meaningfully impacting people's lives.
We combine modern technology, clear processes, and strong execution to scale responsibly. Now we're entering the next phase — taking Nova beyond Sweden and into new markets.
About the Role
This is one of the most important roles in Nova's growth strategy. As Expansion Lead, you will own the end-to-end delivery of Nova's new growth initiatives — from market entry in new countries to launching new revenue streams on existing markets.
You will act as the project leader for every new launch. That means making sure every part of the organisation — marketing, people, finance, clinical, and operations — delivers what they need to, on time, so we go live and succeed. You won't just coordinate from a distance. You'll get your hands dirty and do what needs to be done to move things forward.
Beyond execution, you will play a strategic role: conducting market analyses, identifying opportunities, and recommending which initiatives Nova should prioritise next. New geographies. New care verticals such as aftercare. New brands. You will help shape the roadmap — and then make it happen.
You will lead an Expansion Associate and report to the Head of Growth, working closely together to drive Nova's international and commercial expansion. As Nova grows, so will this role — the right candidate can expect a larger team and significantly increased responsibility over time.
This is a role with real ownership, high visibility, and direct impact on where Nova goes next. If you want to help build the world's leading provider of ADHD and autism care — this is your chance.
What You'll Do
1. Lead New Market Launches
Own the full project plan for entering new countries and markets. Coordinate cross-functionally across marketing, people, finance, clinical, and operations to ensure all workstreams deliver on time. Remove blockers, manage dependencies, and drive the team to go-live.
2. Drive New Revenue Initiatives
Beyond geographic expansion, identify and lead launches of new revenue streams on existing markets — such as aftercare services, new treatment areas, or new brands.
3. Market Analysis & Strategic Prioritisation
Analyse potential markets and growth opportunities. Build the fact base that helps Nova's leadership decide where to expand next and in what order. Come with clear recommendations, not just data.
4. Hands-On Execution
This is not a pure coordination role. You will do a significant share of the practical work yourself — whether that's regulatory research, vendor setup, go-to-market planning, or whatever the launch requires.
5. Team Leadership
Lead and develop an Expansion Associate. Build a small but high-performing expansion function that delivers reliably as Nova scales its ambitions.
Who You Are
2–4 years of experience in a demanding environment — e.g. MBB Consulting, private equity, investment banking, a top-tier law firm, or a high-growth scaleup
Proven track record of leading complex projects end-to-end
Highly structured, proactive, and comfortable working at a fast pace
A strong problem solver who adapts quickly to new and unfamiliar challenges
Execution-oriented — you don't just plan, you make things happen
Comfortable using AI tools to work faster and smarter
Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
It is particularly meriting if you have experience with international expansion or have worked within psychiatric or healthcare services.
Recruitment Process
1. Application
Submit your contact details, upload your CV and include a short introduction about yourself.
2. CV Screening
We review applications on a rolling basis and assess experience, track record and overall fit with the scope of the role.
3. Psychometric Assessments
Selected candidates will complete two online psychometric assessments (approximately 15–20 minutes in total). The tests are used as a complement to interviews to support a structured and objective evaluation.
4. Video Interviews
Candidates who move forward will be invited to one or two video interviews via Teams. These conversations focus on your experience, how you think, and how you have approached complex projects and cross-functional challenges.
5. Final Case Interview (On-site, Stockholm)
The final stage is a more in-depth case interview conducted at our office in Stockholm. You will work through a realistic business scenario relevant to the role and meet key members of the leadership team.
